Acts chapter 4, verses 10 -12, read: “10-let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.
11-This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.
12-Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved.” (NKJV)
Even after all the amazing miracles and ways that God provided for the Israelites, they murmured against the Lord. They still had to be told over and over again: Fear not! Stand still! See the salvation of the Lord!
What was their salvation? The same as it is today – the Lord shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace! Praise His Name!
It’s been a few busy weeks. Moving my mom into assisted living, cleaning out her old apartment for inspection, and now getting ready for Vacation Bible Study next week. I’m so excited for that! We’ve been decorating our whole church with the SonRock Kids Camp theme. I have the third grade class this year. It’s just pure fun!
Anyway, we’re planning on getting the rest of my cd, All I Hear, put on the website in the next two weeks. I’m sorry it’s taken so long, but I’m just happy we can still do it.
Are you enjoying your summer? I hope so. Even when sad things happen, God turns around and gives me a beautiful sunrise, or blooming flowers to enjoy, or a peaceful night sitting on the porch. He fills my heart with such love, I can’t help but love Him back.
